My Powerade Commercial

This commercial was the first project I've worked on. When I watch the final product, I see many things I need to work on. I need to work more on recording shots at a certain angle.  I also need to work more on my editing skills. Although there are some areas where my skills need development, I believe that I have improved a lot from the beginning of the project to this point. For example, I have never recorded a film before and learning how to record was an experience that was needed. Also, I have never edited a film. I have discovered features in the software and apps that I've never used. I have never applied a filter to a project until now. For the audio, I've learned to turn a screen recording into an audio file and combine it to another video. I have also learned to trim and cut video and audio files.  One thing I would do differently for the next time is create more backup plans. During this project, I lost the only extra actor I had and I should've thought to have understudies. I also didn't have enough backup locations. Also, next time I will create a schedule where I can give myself at least an extra day to complete the task. Lastly, I will need to buy a camera and a tripod to film. I didn't have a tripod or a camera to record and ended up using my ladder and phone which probably wasn't the best choice. I struggled creating angles that would work for the shot and would not fall off the ladder. This project shows the level of skill I have when it comes to filming and editing. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I hope to get better at it.
